I noticed that dolphin's cpu occupancy is only 50%.Total ram occupancy is less than 70%.Still games run at half speed. Is it strange and can I increase its cpu occupancy to speed up?
I have set dolphin's priority to realtime in taskmgr.
cpu:i3 330m ram:2g os:win7 64bit gpu r5470

Yeah sorry :p.

I wanted to say that the i3 has 2 core and 2 threads and Dolphin only uses 2 of them, so it's either 2 threads or 2 cores (or 1 thread, 1 core) If you disable HT it will use your full CPU.

Looked at my previous post, I don't know what happened :p.

HT? What's that?

Hyperthreading...check bios

Checkout my latest project ( it is a program that downloads and compiles dolphin on mac and linux now): http://code.google.com/p/dolphin-emu-downloader (It's unofficial and maintained by me, not the dolphin dev team)

HT? What's that?

HT stands for hyper-threading. it's kinda an old but also matured technology used on pentium, and disappeared for Core 2 technology. then in i3/i5/i7 it's back. wat basically it does is to give the cpu the ability to work on 2 threads simultaneously. which makes a duo core look like a quad core. and dolphin is only able to deal with duo core. that's why it can only use 50% of ur cpu power.

so core 2 tech is actually better than ix tech in term of dolphin emu's cpu usage.
