There seems to be a lot of activity on the stereoscopy and oculus rift front recently. It might be fruitful to have an area for discussion on these topics.

I personally haven't seen that much activity regarding stereoscopy, at least not enough to flood the forums to the point where I'd notice. If people have questions about compatibility or getting it to work, that already falls under Support and General Discussion. The finer details about coding already go in the Development forum. Unless we see a sudden rash of 3D questions on a daily basis, that might warrant a new forum. I'll let the other forum staff have their say, but I don't see the need at this point.

You aren't wrong. In my mind I am conflating forum activity and comments in pull requests probably. Still, there'd probably be more activity then the triforce forum.

Well, the Triforce Forum is mandatory, since we divide Game Discussion by everything else Dolphin emulates (or at least tires to emulate). If and when the existing forums are proven insufficient, we'll be in a better position to say whether we need something new.

I second your motion regardless, I'd nominate you to mod the forum too if that counted for anything.

Edit: Even if there isn't that much activity, a forum dedicated to 3D would make it easier for people to quickly find information such as commonly experienced issues and how to resolve them. Rather than picking random keywords and attempting to get lucky with the search function.

Well you could centralize the discussion by making a discussion thread for it in General Discussion.

I put a survey up in general to see how many people are using stereo or vr so it would be easier to glean some numbers.

I second this. There's no such demand to make a entirely new forum section...
