I was wondering if anyone knows how to do this? I know there's hotkeys to refresh each remote, but when a you first boot dolphin you also need to pair up the remotes.

I'm running XBMC and advanced launcher to display my Dolphin library, so when I start a game I don't even see the dolphin menu unless I alt-tab. Having a hotkey to press to pair up remotes would be great, but for now I can manage with alt-tab -> wii -> pair up -> refresh -> alt-tab to game.

Just a neat idea I had today Big Grin

I'm trying to look for this thread from forever ago that let you connect up to 2 remotes and then launch a game in dolphin. It had command line support so it would work well with Advanced Launcher.

EDIT: here is a link --> http://forums.dolphin-emu.org/showthread.php?tid=24548&highlight=%5Bunofficial%5D

It only works with 2 wiimotes, unfortunately. If you can get the source code it could probably be altered to do up to 4.

I was never able to get it working entirely, it kept giving me errors. Maybe you will have more luck.
Desktop:
OS: Windows 7 64 bit
CPU: Intel Core i5 3570K @ 4.4 GHz
GPU: EVGA NVIDIA GeForce GTX 550 Ti (Factory OC'ed)
RAM: 16 GB @ 1600 MHz
Dolphin Revision:3.0, 3.0-784, 3.5, latest 3.5

Thanks mate. Seems like there's an offshoot script / program in that thread that just lets you autopair them permanently - I'll fiddle around with both and see if I can get a solution working.

*EDIT*

Also it seems glovepie might be a good alternative, since it may support permanent pairing with the Toshiba stack - but the Toshiba stack has given me disconnect issues so who knows. Glovepie may be handy for other things though so we'll see...

Hate to double post, but I had to.

I can confirm this:

http://forums.dolphin-emu.org/showthread.php?tid=24548&pid=231735#pid231735

WiiPair GUI I mean, works with win 7 64 bit and the latest version of dolphin. Using an ASUS bluetooth USB dongle (which does have 00 in its MAC address, contrary to the post's requirements), and the microsoft stack. Removed all Btooth devices, then used the easy pair on WiiPair GUI to connect all 4. I can turn them off, turn the PC off, close dolphin, etc. And then automatically reconnect them by pressing any button on the wii remote (to get it to flash) before booting dolphin, even from XBMC. Dolphin then pairs them up perfectly. One sideffect is I get a disconnected wiimote error in DKCR after a couple of minutes, but it worked in Mario Kart Wii and Skyward Sword.

Problem solved, I'm good. Thanks for the help!

Not that I know of, but it might be repurposeable by anyone with LINUX experience. I can't help in that regard, I'm afraid :p
