Horrible Audio Lag

Sad
I'm using the computer in my stats.
Whenever I play Mario Kart Wii or Brawl with a "Gamecube controller", the imput lags significantly enough to affect gameplay. I'm using Dolphin 3.5 and tried the Magic Joy Box and a 360 controller. Neither helped.
I determined that the lag is mostly audio-related, and changing from dsound to xaudio2 didn't really help much either.
This is a top-end machine, built specifically to play Dolphin well, but... THE SOUND LAGS HARD!!!

Dolphin settings? Try using the latest revisions while you're at it. OpenAL has been implemented on Windows and it should have time-stretching, though I'm not sure it'll help with your input lag.

Weird, I updated and the OpenAL did not work at all, even with a latency of 2. It was even worse than the new Xaudio2, which seems to be much better than before. It's still too laggy.
I'm not using AL at this state.

Use LLE and overclock your CPU (if necessary)

I tried LLE, which didn't really help that much.
Did disabling exclusive mode affect anything? I don't like the idea of copywrong malware taking over your sound card and doing nasty things to hardware they don't own.
Will changing the audio rate in the Windows setting do anything?

OpenAL backend is nowhere near usable, at least in linux. Heavy CPU load, massive slowdown, a LOT more than LLE (3-4 times) and horrible distorted sound.
