I'm currently working on a custom Dolphin build focused on supporting modding for a specific game. The game hardcodes a lot of things so it is necessary to do various hacks and other tricks to make it a bit more flexible.

Currently, I'm wondering if it is possible to call functions in the game code from HLE hook functions. This would be incredibly useful and open up a lot of possibilities but so far I've not been able to manage it.

Is this even possible to do? It's such a niche need that I'm not sure that the possibility or the framework that'd be required to handle this functionality even exists. Before pursuing this further I'd love to know if it's even worth putting more time into it since it might not even be possible.

Thanks.
