Although I've seen helpful posts about this, I couldn't find it by searching. I couldn't find many posts about it. I typed in Homebrew Channel but I couldn't find a clear answer. How do you install homebrew on Dolphin. After I post this, I wanna see a full detailed reply after this. And maybe make it a sticky. Also if another person looks for this, they'll have no problem getting to it.
Homebrew Channel Installation

I'm not sure it even works in dolphin. You can just boot any homebrew you want directly though.
edit: yeah, just tried, and got a blackscreen. 02-01-2014, 02:57 PM
Bumpty. I think this is how it should go. Use a software to create an SD image set to 2GB of memory. Then create an apps folder and have it put inside the SD image. Then (for convenient's sake) download and extract Homebrew Browser, create a folder inside of the apps folders on the vSD Card, name it apps/Homebrew Browser and put the said app into the said folder. rename the executable file to boot.elf/boot.dol and don't forget the icon.png and meta.xml files if the downloaded app comes with an .elf/.dol. Go and grab the Hackmii Installer v1.2, download it and have Dolphin find the Homebrew Channel .elf/.dol (since Dolphin is compatible with the either two).
The homebrew channel has been developed with the intention to not work in Dolphin, i.e. it contains code that is tailor-made just to crash Dolphin when trying to run it. Don't bother wasting your time with any of it.
So that means I can't load any Homebrew apps through the Dolphin menu?

File => Open then locate the .elf/.dol file

I'd guess it's to make reverse-engineering the console hacks around HBC/Bootmii/etc harder so that the "wrong people" don't have more stuff to work with.
