homebrew apps seemingly not fixed in latest versions?

For the popular mod, project M, when selecting a stage, you are guaranteed to crash, as of the host input authority updates. I saw that there was a "fix" in an update since that release, but I've yet to see results for it. Currently, Project M and all other smash mods using Brawl are unplayable. Any chance this can be looked at again?
