I did some research and found that one of my bluetooth drivers is missing. The 'Generic Bluetooth Adapter' driver just isn't there. I couldn't find a way to install it, and I don't even know if these issues are related at all.

The broadcom is used for normal bluetooth and dolphin when set to emulate wii BT adapter.
The dolphin bluetooth is for passthrough.

I would try passthrough or confirm bluetooth with other devices.

I installed passthrough and it didn't change anything. The only weird thing about the installation is it didn't give me the option to 'modify system driver' as listed on the instruction page.

Could the section where it says a bluetooth device could not be found have anything to do with this?

Update Dolphin to a development version. There is no passthrough in 5.0.

How are you attempting to connect your Wii remote? Also, have you checked if it might be a Wiimote issue?
