Is there a fix for the text glitches in Harvest Moon: A Wonderful life?

I have the same problem... I changed the to the safe text mode and tried all the different hacks which worked for other games just not this one...

I have a Geforce 8800 updated drivers and Vista 64x with a quad core CPU
