All games run fine in 1280 x 720p, I have checked the setup guides of others and for Smash Bros and SMGalaxy, but when I hit full screen it maximizes, but just sits there. Any ideas?

Yes after the game loaded I did hear the sound, I can set my display to 1680 x 1050 screen (non full screen) and it works, but of course I have my taskbar on the bottom and the window border. I tried playing with the settings but no go.
I should note I have an 8800 gtx , quad core intel computer.

I posted about this very problem a few days ago:

Since it kept drifting off the front page, I just assumed I was the only person with this problem. But apparently not.

Let's get to the bottom of this!

Any suggestions, folks?

Glad to know there is someone else who experiences this, I mean I can play the games in a Windowed mode which is ok, but to make it work the way it should would be awesome. Thanks for referencing your post.
