Hitman FPS lag

Hello,

I've been playing Hitman 2 on Dolphin 3.5 (Mac).

Everything was fine through the first level, but on the second level (Russia) the emulator would give me a CR1 warning upon exiting the subway. So, I disabled panic handlers, but the frame rate dropped to 1 or 2 FPS. I tried fiddling with the graphics and config settings to no avail. It seems likely that the snowing effect is what's taxing the frame rate.

This is what I'm working with:
Intel Core 2 Duo 2.8 GHz
Nvidia GeForce 9600m GT
4GB DDR3 RAM
OSX 10.6.8 (Snow Leopard)

Thanks!

MacOS/Linux - OpenGL run game slower than Windows x64 - Direct3D9 backend
You should install Windows 7/8 x64 via bootcamp and use Direct3D9
Your CPU is average , not really fast for most games

I think the problem is in panic messages. You disabled showing but errors still appears and dolphin tries to skip it.
CPU: Intel Core i5-3570k
GPU: Nvidia GeForce GTX660 (proprietary nvidia driver v.358.16)
RAM: 2 x 4G DDR3 1333 MHz
OS: openSUSE Tumbleweed x86_64 (linux 4.3)
I'm using latest version of Dolphin-emu from git master branch.

If that's the case, what can I do about it?
