I just did this for the hell of it. After about 2 days of work I managed to take Samus' skin in SSBB and put it into SSBM - not an easy task considering the textures are formatted completely differently between both games. Most textures had to be almost completely rebuilt. Also this was done with the PAL version, you may have to rename the folder to reflect the code of the NTSC version if you have it. In anycase, screenies:

Just a tip for next time: Try saving the textures as PNGs to save on space. TGAs don't use any compression which make the files larger than they need to be. (Okay, TGAs can have compression, but it's as basic as you can get.)
