Description

Game Name?

Mario Smash Football (Gamecube)
Mario Strikers Charged (Wii)

Game ID?

G4QP01
R4QE01

What's the problem? Describe what went wrong.

When there are cutscene or idle animation for something (like superkick animation or goal celebration) the audio is glitchy and the frame rate is very low. at native resolution this is not appearing, as i change resolution I have this problem. I tried different combination of graphic setting and i can't resolve this issue at higher resolution than native. higher is the resolution worst is the framerate. This is a huge problem for the second game (Mario Strikers Charged (Wii) [R4QE01] ) where if you must save goals from a special/multiple kick of the team captain you are not able to save any kick because of he glitchy animation and the stutter screen where you are unable to use the wiimote that moves in jerks. as for the other game with native resolution this problem doesn't appear.

What steps will reproduce the problem?

do super/special/multiple kick with the team captain (hold b)

Is the issue present in the latest development version? For future reference, please also write down the version number of the latest development version.

tested on 5.0-12685

Is the issue present in the latest stable version?

Yes

Is there anything else that can help developers narrow down the issue? (e.g. logs, screenshots,
configuration files, savefiles, savestates)

6 videos:

Mario Smash Football

1) super kick glitch
2) goal celebration + replay glitchs
3) super kick no glitch
4) goal celebration + replay no glitch

Mario Strikers Charged

5) super kick glitch + goal celebration + replay glitch
6) super kick goal celebration + replay no glitch

video 1, 2 and 5 settings:
D3D11+Synchronous (Ubershaders)+Compile Shaders Before Starting+Internal solution 3xNative (1920x1584) for 1080p +Anti-Aliasing 8x SSAA +Ansiotropic Filtering 16x+Post-Processing Effect FXAA+Scaled EFB Copy+Per-Pixel Lighting+Force Texture Filtering+Force 24-bit Color+ Disable Copy Filter+Arbitrary Mipmap Detection+all hack checked except vertex rounding.

video 3, 4 and 6 settings:
D3D11+Synchronous (Ubershaders)+Compile Shaders Before Starting+Internal solution Native (640x528) +Anti-Aliasing 8x SSAA +Ansiotropic Filtering 16x+Post-Processing Effect FXAA+Scaled EFB Copy+Per-Pixel Lighting+Force Texture Filtering+Force 24-bit Color+ Disable Copy Filter+Arbitrary Mipmap Detection+all hack checked except vertex rounding.

P.S. as said before i have tried diofferent combionation o settings, i can have better performance (a bit)  in game but same issue durin the animation in both games

Judging by the template, it looks like you want to open an issue report. In that case you should post that to bugs.dolphin-emu.org, not here...

This problem isn't really valid for the issue tracker, though. That the performance gets lower when the internal resolution is increased is to be expected. Though I would expect a GTX 1080 to be able to handle at least 2x...

EDIT: Uh wait, I just read the list of settings and noticed that you're using 8x SSAA and synchronous ubershaders. If you turn those two settings down, Dolphin's performance should be a lot better.

thank you. i will try it.
unfortunately i forgot to link the video, i made another post with the video but it wasn't accepted.
anyway, i tried other things on the emulator (both stable and developer). on stable version, with the internal resolution at 2K works fine without any aliasing or post processing method. instead on the developer version the problem persist also a 1080p and 720p with no anti-aliasing.

i will try what you said and will update the post

Please make sure that you are not using synchronous ubershaders. (5.0 stable doesn't have ubershaders.)
