Thanks for the videos. The cop car at the start of the Carny level is way brighter in your video than it is for me. Mine is similar to the wii version with almost no bloom on the top/hood. Not sure why that is. I don't know what a good value for the bloom is, but I may put it to 3f400000. It's really hard for me to tell what's best.

Your decision is very good. I absolutely support it. Idea Smile

I view my full screenshot of this game taken from the last story a year ago,it is not easy to trace those scenes with bloom glitch.

To distinguish if it is a bloom issue or just a cause of the improper emulated depth of field effect is a problem.

To see if it's a bloom issue do this:

Go to the problem area in the game
Graphics -> advanced -> dump efb target. Warning: Only keep it on for a few frames then turn it back off.
Then go to Documents -> Dolphin Emulator -> Dump -> Textures.

Look through there, if it's bad bloom you'll see the issue being generated in the images.

/edit Updated HOTD wiki and added an x8 bloom code as well.
Going to update the twilight princess (GC) wiki with a code too

Thank you very much! This is a good method.
The image is not very blurry. The image problem shown on the screenshot does not appear to be caused by the degradation of the depth of field.

This screenshot is a typical example of deteriorated dof.

In any case, there are two types of images can be found in the dump efb target folder.

This should be simply a bloom issue.

Thanks. The blue light in the back of the first image also seems to have bad bloom. How often would you say bloom issues appear in the game?

Bloom issues quite often appear in the game, since a lot of bloom effects are used as main effects in the game and scenarios throughout the game, the impact is not serious and does not feel annoying, it is generally not too noticeable.

I used to play this game just to focus on another issue only,it is the broken textures issues(EFB Copies to Texture/Ram).
