Thanks zombie, you're better at spotting this stuff than I am. The bloom texture copies look quite similar, but mine are just a little sharper (I couldn't resize the textures that compound into the first bloom copy), which I guess shows up in the end.

I redid HOTD bloom and I think the game has crappy bloom in general, but the bloom copies now look identical to me, so give it a try:
$HOTD Bloom x4 v2
C215E564 00000001
5463E13E 00000000
C215E574 00000001
5484E13E 00000000
C215D0DC 00000003
39400017 54C6F0BE
54E7F0BE 5508F0BE
5529F0BE 00000000

If there's more flickering than when efb scaled is off (no mod) then I might need to see a video of how it's supposed to look, because it flickers quite a bit no matter what for me.

I am sorry, the bloom fix v2 is not working for me.

If the option efb scaled is off, bloom fix is not required.I think the game is rendered at native resolution.

Thanks for the video, I'll try to find what's wrong. It looks the same as no code at all?

Could you try 16:9 instead of stretch to window when testing the codes, just in case. But I don't think that's what is wrong here.

/edit For some reason you have to start a level or cutscene level intro before applying the code. Not sure why. If it looks perfect with the code I could try to figure something out for that.

Whether 16 or 9 or full-screen stretch results are the same.

It's strange!I apply the code after the start of the cutscene. This fix is only valid for this scenario,in the next chapter, it is no longer valid.

My screen comment was probably wrong.

I fixed the issues. It was calculating the bloom offset one time at level loading. My modded values were breaking the offset (making them very large so things looked very blotchy), which is why the code needed to be off until the level loaded. Hard to find the offset because the code only runs one time, but I fixed it I think.

Thanks for your good work!
The problem is solved! The overall effect is quite close to perfect.
There is a slight flicker effect under the camera movement, when the camera motion stopped, it became stable again. In some cases, the flickering effect of certain objects and characters is a bit too strong and the brightness of the bloom light is a bit excessive,it hurt my eye but this is acceptable.

I found that a strange spot on the top of the warehouse(carny level) will change with the movement.I do not know what effect it was originally.

Ok, I looked and it seems like stuff is supposed to flicker whenever the camera moves. The problem is that the bloom is just brighter with the mod, and thus the flickering is more obvious. The warehouse looks like it has "sun glare" at the top, which is there without the mod - just dimmer. Brightness is a constant issue with these mods and I'm not sure where the problem originates, but I can sometimes find a value that lowers it.

But it's way better than no mod. I'll look one more time for some sort of brightness value.

/edit
Found it. If you want to help fine tune it change the 3f500000 on the brightness line to another decimal value (Float to Hex Convert  put like 0.75 in the float box and convert, then you'll get a hex 3f400000 which you replace the 3f500000 with).

The warehouse looks like it has "sun glare" at the top, maybe it's a nearby scene where the fire is burning. The flickering example I am talking about is that the light bulb is shining instead of long

The overall brightness of the game seems to be higher than that of the wii console even if it is the original resolution(1 X IR).This causes the flicker to be more obvious.

I can't open the link you provided. I have to find another one.

I changed the value to 3f333333(0.7),this value seems more suitable to me. Tongue

Yeah the game seems to look better in the Wii video. Your value is probably better. Does it look correct enough to put on the game's wiki?

I uploaded a video to show you the demonstration effect.Do you think it is necessary to increase the brightness of bloom? If you think that brightness is ok,please put on the game's wiki, many thanks!

I also upload a video that fixes the bloom issues of Xenoblade Chronicles.
