Got a good PC yesterday I tried to run few game but they seem to lag a lot and freeze for few seconds

SSBB drops to 50 a lot
MK Wii runs at 35-40 FPS lol
Metroid prime at 40 FPS as well -_-

Anyways these are my specs

CPU - I7 4770K
GPU - GIGABYTE GTX770 OC
Motherboard - Z87-A
16GB RAM 1600
hydro 212 fan

BTW am using rev 3.5 1565 x64
is it good enough?

:/ is there's anyway to improve the performance and make those games run smoothly?

Those games should run at full speed, have you tampered with the settings? If so, post your settings.
Check your CPU and GPU clocks and temps while playing a game and report it here.

BTW , check your CPU temp and clockspeed with "Realtemp"
GPU clock speed with "Nvidia Inspector"
Dolphin must run at the same time otherwise your information will be useless

Wait ! Mario Kart with LLE audio ? And your CPU isn't OCed yet you still use LLE ?
Mario Kart doesn't need LLE audio , HLE audio is good enough for this game
Use 4x Internal Resolution instead of 3x
Per pixel lighting should be disabled if you want more speed
EFB copies to Ram may or may not affect the speed (depending on the game) . EFB to texture = more speed , less accuracy
Disable "Vsync" and "use full screen" (Press Alt-Enter to toggle fullscreen) . Set Framelimit = 60 and enable "Limit by FPS"
Right-click the game - Properties - Enable "Vbeam Speed Hack"

lol forgot to put it back to HLE I was testing few things, anyways even after changing back to HLE and lowering all settings plus overclocking the CPU I still had the same problems got like 10 more FPS max. I did find a solution though I changed my Backend from Direct3D11 to Direct3D9 ._.
That gave me major boost now I can play SMG2 with LLE sound at full speed Smile
I'm curios what's the point of Direct3D11?
The graphics look like Direct3D9 but it lowers the FPS greatly am I missing something?
one more question why do we need a very fast CPU for LLE any links for info?

Thanks for all the help Big Grin

It fixes some graphics issues in some games.

Because it emulates each DSP microcode instruction. Which is very slow. Search the forums or google if you need further information.
