Well... Hello all Smile It's great to see that I've finally managed to understand about Emulators, having regularly used ePSXe and putting my old PS1 disks back into use again (seeing how my old PS1 isn't working anymore). My buddy has left me to fend for myself after ripping my Resident Evil Remake disk 1 onto this computer for me and I have to "figure out" how to make this all work. Unfortunately, I have no idea how to make this Emulator work.

My Specs are:

OS: Windows Vista Home Premium (6.0, Build 6002) 64-bit
Processor: AMD Phenom 9550 Quad-Core Processor (4 CPUs) ~ 2.2GHz
Memory: 4094MB RAM
Graphics: Nvidia GeForce 9800GT

Now, I have ensured that I have the latest Drivers, updates, redistribution C++ thingy, .NET Framework and I have installed the Dolphin SVN R 3286 (which I hope is the right one) and I'm opening my Resident Evil Remake Disk 1 game onto the Emulator and all I get is a black screen. Now uhh... I don't know anything about the plugins, I don't know anything about how to get the game to run. I'm sure as hell my computer can handle the emulations.

I've gone into the Emulation properties and I see "Enable Idle skipping", "Disable copy to EFB", "Safe texture Cache" and it's making my brain melt, I really can't for the life of me understand what this all means and what I need to do in order to make the emulation work...

Please, can someone help me? :'(
