Still there are some inconsistencies in the way it work.
For example, when I tried to pair for first time a second wiimote, it wont sync at alll while first wiimote was on. Turned off first wiimote, then the second paired fine. And then you can use both at the same time. Not sure why such things happen on passthrough mode, it should be pretty much the same than on a real wii.. 10-14-2016, 07:43 PM
Yes, I'm also seeing this, though only for the fourth remote and with an adapter that isn't the Wii BT module. The "new connection" event isn't sent by the adapter for some reason.

Well, here I always use the wii bt module. But, If I pair for the first time every wiimote without connecting any other, then they will pair fine and I can use 2 or 3 at the same time.
Didnt tried with 4 wiimotes, but will try later.
Tried 4 wiimotes. They work fine. But you need to pair for first time every wiimote alone. Then you can do one button re sync with the 4 wiimotes at the same time.
You should try that with your dongle. Cause if some dongles only will sync less than 4 wiimotes, compatibility list will require a hell of a job.
Oh, I read your message wrong. I have no issues with pairing a Wiimote when some are already connected (my issue is having 3 remotes connected and connecting a fourth, already paired one). That's definitely a bit weird, but I can't check that without being able to reproduce it and without having a Wii BT module I can use.

oh, thanks for clarify that. So, some dongles cant handle more than a limited number of wiimotes. Kind of weird the bt world.

Hi can someone help me please? I have bought the Wii RemotePlus and it is the correct TR version. i still cant get speaker spound.
I have Windows 10 on an MSI Apache GE62 2QF. It has bluetooth 4.1 built in. I have enabled speaker data and ensured the volume is turned up on speaker. I have tried it with the Wii so I know the speaker is definitely functioning. Any help would be appreciated. |
