That's up for investigation, as to why they don't play audio properly.
Hey, Listen! Your Wiimote can speak now!

JulianLoehr: There are some other interesting things. Such as Balance Boards disconnecting on Wiimote audio (Which doesn't make sense to me?)
Quote: Lastly, the quality of a Bluetooth adapter does matter. In our testing, a more expensive Bluetooth adapter (~$20) outperformed a cheap Bluetooth adapter ($5) and DolphinBar in audio quality and latency. Then you don't recommend DOlphinBar anymore? A few months ago I tried to connect my non-tr Wiimote to my laptop but it didn't work well (it disconnected a few times). After updating to Windows 10 and Dolphin builds now my TR and normal wiimotes works great without issues. I wanted to buy a bar to my computer, but I don't know if I should buy a wireless bar or a DolphinBar to improve my build-in bluetooth receptor (although it looks like it's good enough) What bluetooth adapter do you recommend? We still recommend the DolphinBar! It is still very good, and by far the easiest way to connect and use wii remotes on PC. A toshiba bluetooth dongle with the toshiba stack is probably the best option. It's definitely not as easy to use as a dolphinbar, however... Guys, any progress possible on non tr wiimote and non tr wiimote plus?
Sound is pretty bad on both. Looks like a similar fix could be applied as it sound as bad as a tr prior fix. I have both for test in case you wanna try something. 04-05-2016, 09:19 AM
Nothing guys? Will be great to have improved wiimote code.
There are many games missing wiimote speaker. 04-05-2016, 10:26 AM
no one has shown any interest in working on non-TR Wiimote audio. It's not an easy fix; so it'd take someone a lot of work to reverse engineer it and figure out what it's doing differently.
The only way to for sure get it done would be to do it yourself
Well, lets see. Dolphin dev team accomplished many great things, that makes reverse engineering a wiimote protocol like a kids game
Lets hope some dev get interested in this. No wii is completely emulated without proper wiimote support! Why so negative jmc? Dont you have some bear golf game to play? lol, just kidding Maybe some dev contest could work. I remember that nasty audio crackling bug after 1.30hs of play that was on dolphin code for months. The dev contest made the bug get resolved in a few days.
I'm not trying to be negative about it or mean. It's just one of those things where there's no lead and it's going to be really hard to even get someone started on it. Please no more gummy bears. though I fear whatever is next will be worse...
If you have no talent to work on it yourself (like most of us here,) then the only way you can support this is to keep periodically showing you care about the issue like you did 04-06-2016, 10:36 AM
I bet you cant stop playing that game. Too bad there is no rehab clinic for bear games addiction. So, control yourself
Well, we never know. Some weeks ago everyone though the tr battle was loss. Then @JulianLoehr came from nowhere with a great idea that become a perfect solution. So, since dolphin is open source, who knows if tomorrow will be fixed. As I said, only can offer my testing skills, mainly because I buyed 2143 non tr wiimotes by jmc recommendation.. Now, seriously, will be easy to switch to tr wiimote, but I just wish to have a better dolphin as good as it can gets |
