Helping dolphin perform on my PC?

Hello all, I'm new to emulation and brand new to the world of Dolphin. Recently I got a few games on there, both Wii and GC, yet none seem to run at all without performance issues, mainly FPS lag and audio stuttering. Considering that my PC and its specs have no trouble running Warframe, a latest-gen game, at high graphic settings, I theoretically should be able to run these games decently. However, I've tirelessly played with settings, and even tried the unofficial Dolphin Ishiiruka version, all to no avail. Help from someone with more experience would be appreciated! Thanks

Uh.

That's a pretty low end CPU and GPU in the world of computers. And in the world of emulation, AMD just doesn't cut it with anything but a crazy high (Think 4.5+ ghz) clock speed because their single threaded perf is terrible. As well as Dolphin just not performing very well on AMD GPUs in OpenGL. D3D is fine but we tend to be most accurate on OpenGL.

Also,

1. PC gaming and emulation are different beasts.

2. Warframe is a F2P game. F2P games try to run well on a wide range of hardware to gain as many players as they can.

3. If you're looking for support for Ishiiruka, we do not support Ishiiruka. Go post in the support thread for that build.

1. PC gaming only requires a fast GPU, they don't care about the CPU. For emulators, it's usually the opposite.

My CPU begs to differ.

I would look into overclocking your CPU, it's pretty simple and AMD chips usually overclock decently BUT make sure you know what you're doing beforehand!

Their CPU is a 25w laptop APU. They're probably not overclocking it.
