help with xenoblade fps

Hi, I want to ask if someone knows the best config to get good fps in xenoblade chronicles.

my system is an athlon x3 3.1 ghz, windows 7 32 bits and 4 gb ram (3.25 because of the 32 bits). Graphic card is a saphire ati 5750 1 gb.

I have 2 problems:
- the first is that the audio starts to sound choppy in the intro video
- the second is that when i star the first fight my fps goes from 25 to 17 and stays there, until i get close to the enemies, then it drops to 10-14, maling the fight very annoying.
I'm using the pal version so i know it has a max of 25 fps.

I hope someone can help me, because i've been looking around in forums and nothing has helped me, I've tried a lot of configs. i'm using r7719 if that helps.

the intro videos/fights are really heavy, just try to get through it.

also, have you tried different revisions? the 3.0 official release works best for me personally, for xenoblade at least.

this is how mine is set up, im not really far into the game but im running at full speed stably for the most part.

I got through the intro scene and the game runs a lot smoother, and experimenting with the options i found that I can play it with better resolution and effects and the fps stays the same, 17-19 for the intro scene and 20-25 afterwards.
The audio is another topic, because in the fights and videos the voices get weird but in game they sound good.

What specific model of cpu do you have? You will probably need to overclock your cpu in order to run the game at fullspeed.

I would strongly advise that you uncheck cache display lists, disable Destination alpha pass, and disable fog. Also with a GTS 450 you should be able to use a 3x or 4x internal resolution without any slowdown, and I would recommend playing the game in fullscreen mode with fullscreen resolution set to your monitors native resolution, vsync turned on, and hide mouse cursor turned on. I would also advise that you set your audio backend to xaudio2 if you are using windows vista or 7, and change your cpu emulator engine to JIT recompiler.

That's the info i get from cpu-z. AMD athlon x3.

A friend told me it's already a little overclocked, but i don't know much about OC so i can't really tell . It's possible to make my cpu go faster without having any problem?

ill try that now and see how it works out, thanks for the suggestion. will edit back with results.

hmm, didn't see an edit buttion anywhere so sorry for double posting. anyways, it works great and everything except if i turn the internal resolution to anything other than 1x, if it's higher on game start (well after loading to be precise) it almost immediately starts stuttering then freezes up and i have to close it with task manager. leaving on 1x however i can run it perfectly fine.

I gues i'm gonna leave my pc like it is for now. when I get some money i'll buy a better cpu.
