Help with wiimote

Hi guys, i am new here and i just wanted to ask a question...
I intent to buy a wiimote and use it with my pc to play games with dolphin.My question is : Can i use the wiimote to play games in other emulators like Project64 or real PC games????

I saw some guys that have connect wiimote with pc and played PC games or P64.My question is : Is the response of the wiimote normal to the games or have some delay caused by Glovepie etc...
