Help with using a real Wiimote

Hey guys. This is my first time here, also using this program for the first time. So far I'm loving it but I noticed I, for some reason, couldn't aim my mouse at the top portion of my screen and I tried using a real Wiimote by connecting it via a Bluetooth device. Problem is it's recognized, the buttons work fine, but I cannot move the cursor at all. Am I supposed to be using Wii's Sensor Bar for this? I don't think my PC has any plugs available for it.

Any help would be much appreciated.

Yes, you need a sensor bar to use the wiimote to point on the screen

Well, as I stated, I have no idea how to connect the device to my PC. Do I need another device or can it be done without any?

You need a bluetooth adapter to connect the Wiimote to your PC. Like ED2 said, you'll need a sensor bar, or really, any sort of infrared light source if you want to be able to point at things. You should look into MayFlash's DolphinBar. It's both a bluetooth adapter and a sensorbar and has been proven to work well with Dolphin.

Well if you use the original sensor bar you can convert it to USB (this involves cutting wires and also adding a battery in for more power), I recommend getting a USB bar or trying the dolphin bar

Note: adding a battery is a really silly way to do it. Ideally you should swap out the resistors for weaker ones (or in some cases you can just take them out altogether).

Just buy this, it's cheap, amazing and you won't regret it.
