Hi i'm new here and i'm new to dolphin

The problem i have is the notebook temperature when i use dolphin.
Usually in idle it's around 50c or less, when dolphin is on it reaches 80c.
I checked and cleaned the fan and i have a cooling pad, it should be the x1 by coolmaster, still speedfan keeps telling me gpu, temp1, core0 and core1 are hitting 80c.

What should i do? Should i just give up?

I have a intel® core™ i5 m430 2,27 ghz 2 core

Thanks in advance and sorry for the bad english.

were you expecting miracles with the cooling pad?
it's obvious that a CPU running at 100% is going to get hot, especially with laptops that have poor cooling compared to a desktop

use a desktop or live with the heat

I already had the pad from a previous laptop e worked when it was getting old e it was hot outside, so i wasn't expecting miracles but a substantial decrease for sure.

btw cpu is not running at 100% but is stable at 60%

i don't have a desktop, not a powerful one anyway, i guess i'll just stop using dolphin

thanks

You can try to download a app that can increase your fan speed in your laptop like Speedfan or adjust it in your bios if available.
