I just recently downloaded Dolphin in an attempt to play Spectrobes Origins as i really liked the DS games, but i ran into some control issues. The main issue is that  i need to be able to "Swing" the wii mote to progress in the game, both up and down and sideways i believe, and also, i need to point at the screen with the wiimote at some points of the game, the issue is, i dont have a working wiimote/nunchuck/infrared thingy for the wiimote.

I only have my mouse, KB and an XBox 360 controller.

I have already searched on the forum, and i found something that looked promising, and about using an old build "6179" or something like that, but i havent been able to figure anything out, and the other thing i found (for some zelda game i believe, but also worked for spectrobes) had broken links.

Another problem i have is that i have absolutely no idea how Dolphin works, i kinda know how mapping works but thats it, really basic.

I wanted to ask if it would be possible to do the following:

Spectrobes requires Nunchuck + wiimote, so:

Xbox controller:
·left stick for nunchuck stick
·press down stick to swing nunchuck sideways
·Left button (LB) for C
·Right button (RB) for Z
·Start and select for + and -
·Directional pad for cross stick (on top of A on wiimote) (i hope you understand what i mean here, both are very similar, 4 directional buttons)
·Left trigger (LT) for horizontal wiimote swing
·Right Trigger (RT) for vertical wiimote swing
·A for a
·B for b
·x for 1
·y for 2

and then, to point at the screen, i would use the mouse, and if possible, also have a mapped to left click, (i believe its A, havent played that part yet)

There is also a part where i have to swing the wiimote and nunchuck like maraccas, that could be bound to two keyboard letters as they are not really used that much i believe.

Thank you for your time and sorry to ask this much, but i would be really grateful if anyone provided me with some info on how to do this Big Grin

EDIT: Just realized there is a controller section. :/ I believe i should have posted there.

You don't need to use an old build of Dolphin.

Use the latest development release and select "Emulated wiimote" in the controller settings, from there you can configure the movements to whatever button you like
