Hi Guys! Wasn't sure where to post this and can't post in the Delphino Plaza section, so here goes.
I decided to try and remove all of the HUD in Mario Kart Wii during the races (not including the item box and warnings) and I'm stuck on the last thing; the map. I found the texture that the map uses, but when I make it a transparent image, it results in a big gray box where the map should be. Any idea how to prevent that?
I also decided to try (for some reason) to fill the texture to a solid black square, and for some reason it made the map appear but without the border and making it solid white made the gray box return. So with this, I'm guessing either there's another texture I can't find that I need to make transparent, or there's something not texture related that needs to be changed? My thoughts are that the game will try to draw the map using the texture, but if that texture isn't there, it needs to output something so it just puts out a big gray box? Any help would be appreciated.

EDIT: If anybody knows of a texture pack that already does this, please let me know. I did have a look around, but I only found a console mod, not custom textures for Dolphin.
