I have been trying to play Paper Mario, but the sprites keep flickering in and out. I have tried changing settings but I don't really know what I'm doing. Also every other game works completely fine. I changed my backend, but OpenGL crashes when I load any game, my Dolphin is the newest build, and I can only make it worse.

Can anyone help?

https://dolphin-emu.org/blog/2019/04/01/the-new-era-of-video-backends/#bounding-box Does your problem look like this? Are you on macOS? If so, it sounds like a Bounding Box problem.

Are you using the Vulkan (or MoltenVK) backend? That should have it fixed unless macOS is just being really stupid. You may want to look at it again with your Internal Resolution set to 1x. Or right-click on the game in Dolphin's game list, go to Properties >Verify tab, and click on "Verify Integrity" to make sure you have a good dump of the game. Or dual-boot Linux or Windows cause macOS is terrible.

I am using Vulkan and have a mac. I found a better dump so the game is a little more playable, however it still is flickering and the audio is also a bit weird at some points

Downloading games is against the forum rules.
