Help with my New Dolphin Bar?

Hey everyone, made an account to ask about this. If you know anything, I'd appreciate it if you have any advice or tips.

As I'm sure you all know, it's impossible to play games like Skyward Sword, Mario Galaxy 2 (specifically the Yoshi parts) and even the Twilight Princess fishing minigame precisely by simply using the emulated remote in Dolphin. I've been using Dolphin for almost a year now. About a week ago, I finally gave in, and purchased the Mayflash Dolphin Bar, a Wiimote Plus (I believe it's the -TR style) and a nunchuk, all from Amazon.

They all look just fine. I heard the Dolphin Bar is supposed to come with a CD with the drivers and such, but there was no such CD in my package. So I downloaded the firmware from the support section of Mayflash.

It all started with it saying 'It's a different product, can't update it!' or something like that. I followed all the instructions. Nothing. I have no clue why it does that. I'm positive I downloaded the correct file and everything, so I'm unsure why this would happen.

I searched and searched the internet for a solution, but nothing I found worked. I installed the Windows drivers and everything. It shows up in my device manager, and it seems to work fine on the hardware side. The LEDs work. It seems fine.

I know Wii Remotes are notoriously tough to Sync, but this is ridiculous. A week straight of attempts, and still nothing. I heard the previous error might've been because the firmware is already updated, but that seems unlikely, because then Dolphin would have recognized the Dolphin Bar and maybe improved my connection experiences.

Yep, Dolphin doesn't even realize its even there. I do already have an Xbox 360 wireless adapter plugged in, so maybe that affects it or something... I doubt it though. However, correct me if I'm wrong. I'm willing to do whatever to make sure the $80 I dropped on this stuff doesn't go to waste.

It's on Mode 4, if that's what you mean.

I'd start by removing any USB hardware you don't need, just to be certain nothing interferes.
If it still doesn't find it, try a firmware update: Press the SYNC button, and keep it pressed while plugging it in... It should recognize it as a new device.
Now start the updater, it should find the Dolphin-bar in update mode, and when it does, press start, it will tell you whether it is upgrading or whether it already has the latest firmware installed...

Also possibly try different USB ports.

That's the thing. Whenever I try the firmware update, hold sync and then plug it in, it comes up with an error saying, "It's a different product, firmware is not matched, can't update it!" I assume that's the main source of the issue but I have no clue how to fix it.
