Hey, i have Melee in the GCM format, and whenever i run Dolphin all i get is a black screen.

32bit Vista Home Premium
Intel Duo 2.60GHz x 2
4.00GB Ram
NVidia GeForce 8600M GT

I have directX 9 and updated it, but don't know how you are supposed to use it, so do i delete the plugin?

Settings
Dual Core
enable idle skipping

Build
Latest one on the downloads page
And everything else is default.

use opengl instead

Same thing, screen is just black with the yellow print at the top, that just states cache cleared, and my video options.

I deleted the Dx9 plugin.

So idk why it's not working.

well what the posts say, it seems like the graphics plugin is locking up. might wanna update ur drivers.

Good idea. I'll update and post if it was successful or not.
Thanks everyone for your help, by updating my drivers i managed to get it running. Thought they auto-updated, guess not.

But the speed is a problem, at close to 30 fps, a little less than half
