Hey guys, like the subject says, I can't seem to get any USB GC controller to work with Dolphin. I've tried 3 controllers and I seem to be having similar problems with all of them on multiple versions of Dolphin.

In short, I can't get the C control stick to register or, when it does work, the up/down on the C stick will register as the same axis as the up/down on the left control stick. Any tips or suggestions are appreciated!

Are you using an adapter (wiiu/switch) or fake GC controllers with USB?

Fake GC controllers with USB. Is that ill-advised?

If I had to guess they are of poor quality, a GC adapter is going to be much better. Are you able to use the controllers with any other program?

Thanks for your help here. You were right. All 3 USB controllers were bad (all different brands too). I bought an adapter and legit GC controller and it worked immediately. Thanks again

I have looked on several sites including this on and i cant find a solution to my issue. I have a PDP usb/switch Zelda gamecube controller. I can configure (or at least its allowing me to) it in controller options but it will not save or work when i launch a game. The game is compatible (i checked). i cant find a resolution. I don't want a xbox or PS gamepad. I am more comfy with the GC controller. Anyone have any ideas or additional info to get the pad up and running. BTW it does work properly with metal slug i purchased from GOG. so i know it works fine.
Thanx all.
