Your CPU is weak. You won't get much more than you do. Try to optimizate settings of Dolphin. Which ones did you use?

I'll bet it's a laptop though.

I am also having some FPS troubles in FFCC. With 3 vbas "hooked up" I can get 100% speed, but right now with the 4 that I want I'm at around 85-90%. I've already done some tinkering, and I also somewhat overclocked my GPU. My intel i7 3610qm processor is currently running at 2.3Ghz. Would overclocking my CPU even a little bit make a significant difference? I know overclocking always has its dangers, but I want to keep those dangers to a minimum, meaning not going overboard on the overclocking. I'd love to hear any suggestions!
Thanks Smile

In my case, small overclocks did not make a big difference. I initially overclocked from 3.3 to 3.6 and the performance gain on my system in Dolphin was negligible. However, once I went up to 4.7, I saw a huge improvement.

You can't overclock a locked multiplier processor . Maybe you would have a chance if you had a desktop with Z77 mobo + locked multiplier CPU
Laptop is out of the question
You can force Turbo Boost manually though

Okay, so I won't try overclocking my CPU then. Would turbo boost be safe for my laptop as long as I was careful? Also, what does it do? (I did read the thread on your link btw)

Thanks for replying
