Question
Hi, I have tried to start Dolphin, and open a ROM/ISO file, All i get is some error messages.
"Can't open Plugins/Plugin_padSimpleevnt.dll, it has a missing function"
"Can't init any PAD Plugins"
"Couldn't init the core. Check your configuration"

I have read on this forum and Emutalk.net for a while, but no luck...
All I have found is "Get the last DirectX..." and "Try an other SVN"

I have:
Windows XP x64
Intel Pentium III Xeon processor, (about 3.5GHz Quad core)
4GB RAM (4094MB)
2x ATI Radeon HD 4800 seriens [SyncMaster] (512MB)
DirectX 9.0c
atm. Dolphin SVN R 2745

I hope someone might know why and how to fix the problem, (and if there is any diffrence), link a guide how to setup the config for quadcore

The suggestion to get the "latest" (not last) is correct. Read the Dolphin Requirements in the General Discussion forums & download all the required files - Microsoft DirectX Updater & VC++ 2008 SP1.

Dolphin doesn't fully support quadcores. It will only treat it as a dual core. Make sure you have Enable Dual Core checked in the configuration

After I downloaded r2865 from http://forums.dolphin-emu.org/thread-13.html I no longer had the errors, (i still har error messages tough, but not the same...)
After that, I got the latest DirectX form http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?FamilyId=2DA43D38-DB71-4C1B-BC6A-9B6652CD92A3&displaylang=en and I finaly could load the games...
