Hi, I'm new here.
I just downloaded Dolphin and I've been following the video tutorial given on the site. However, according to the video and the site recommended there, I should be able to choose my screen size, "For 1080p simply choose 1920x1080." Anyway, my config window doesn't look anything like the one showed in the video and the higher resolution I get to choose is 1366x768. Is the config window different on the x64 version? Please help, I really want to play WW :p

Your monitor probably doesn't support 1920x1080 resolution.

Also, are you in the right window? There's the fullscreen window resolution, and then there's the internal resolution.

The video is old and outdated and needs to be replaced. The only way to change the resolution now is to edit the dolphin.ini or just drag the window and resize manually.

I should probably add that while my laptop monitor doesn't support 1920x1080 resolution, I will be playing on my HD tv using an HDMI.

I don't really know how to edit the dolphin.ini so I guess I'll just leave that alone. as for manually dragging, I guess I'm gonna download WW and try that out, thanks!

You can modify your screen size. It says so in the "Graphics" tab. There should be a "fullscreen window resolution". Most likely if you cannot change it on your laptop, you must edit this setting while your HDTV is hooked up.

And then change the internal resolution (since if you have a 1920x1080 screen, but are only playing at native, you're not getting HD)

I changed my HDTV to be my main monitor and I got the 1920x1080 resolution option, thanks a lot!
also, what do you mean I'm not getting HD if I'm only on native? is there something there I got to change?

Your fullscreen/windowed resolution is the resolution that dolphin outputs but it is not the resolution that the game is rendered at. Dolphin renders the game at the internal resolution then scales it to the fullscreen/windowed resolution before output.

The internal resolution can be adjusted in the graphics settings. By default it is set to auto, which will automatically adjust the internal resolution based on the fullscreen/windowed resolution. Increasing internal resolution increases load on the GPU so you need to have a graphics card that can keep up in order to prevent your performance from decreasing.
