First off, I'll mention that I'm a fairly new member and user of the emulator, so it will take me a while to understand what specific things are. So please bear with me.

Second, I made sure to look for any threads on this particular problem, but haven't found much that was helpful.
I'd also like to apologize for not knowing all of the details about my computer. (E.g. RAM) I will be asking my dad about that as soon as he's not focusing on his work.

Now, the problem I'm encountering that I need a fix for is that instead of music being played, I get a high pitched squeal with static coming from the speakers.

The disc image of Eternal Darkness that you are using has been tampered with. Make sure to use an untouched 100% virgin version of Eternal Darkness for the music to work.
