Help with Alien Crush Returns

Hi, I'm pretty new to Dolphin, and I thinks it's amazing. I just installed the wii menu and started installing wads. My problem is when I play Alien Crush Returns it asks at the beginning if I want to make a save file, I hit yes. Then it says on the screen "transmitting data" and it won't progress past that. Anyone know what I can do to fix that? It's probably something simple I don't understand yet, I am a noob to this emu. Thanks for any help!
