HELP! Switch vs WIIU gamecube adapter

Hi

I'm new to dolphin and I need some help. I'm trying to use my Nintendo switch gamecube adapter to use my gamecube controllers but it doesn't seem to work. I use zadig. Is it only compatible with the WIIU version cause that would kinda suck. If anyone knows what I need to do to fix it that would be amazing

If it is an official Nintendo adapter, it should work regardless of whether it was sold as being for the Switch or for the Wii U.
