IR: Leave wiimote IR untouched
Swing: W,S,A,D,E,Q (respectively top-bottom)
Tilt: P,Semicolon,L,Apostrophe (respectively top-bottom)

EDIT: Eww, thats seriously sloppy, let me know anything you cant see
First of all THANK YOU SO MUCH for your HELP... Smile Smile Smile

I couldn't understand the following buttons...
left and right analog stick controls ['1','2','Tilt (N) Axis' and 'Stick']
1,2,3,4 buttons [Shake (N) Axis, Swing (N) Axis etc]
what do u mean by 'N'? Nunchuck?
and are you telling to use keyboard instead of ps2 controller? 'Swing: W,S,A,D,E,Q (respectively top-bottom)Tilt: P,Semicolon,L,Apostrophe (respectively top-bottom)'

Quote: left and right analog stick controls ['1','2','Tilt (N) Axis' and 'Stick']
L3 = 1
R3 = 2
Axis as in set the tilt function to all 4 axis (left, right, up and down)

Quote: 1,2,3,4 buttons [Shake (N) Axis, Swing (N) Axis etc
Same as above, dont know where you got 3 and 4 though

Quote: what do u mean by 'N'? Nunchuck?
Yes, N is nunchuck config and W is wiimote

Quote: and are you telling to use keyboard instead of ps2 controller? 'Swing: W,S,A,D,E,Q (respectively top-bottom)Tilt: P,Semicolon,L,Apostrophe (respectively top-bottom)'

As i'm sure you've noticed, all the buttons on the controller are used up with buttons on the wiimote still unassigned, mapping 2 buttons on the same input will cause issues so its best to use both a pad and keyboard and mouse.
......?????

I tried. But the way it loads on my computer didn't really give me an option. Sorry if that wasn't humorous. What I don't understand is how he maps the shake function--it's the only thing that I have left. I have tried mapping shake for both the wiimote and nunchuck in every combination I thought possible, but there has to be something I haven't tried yet. What do you guys do to program it on a standard game controller?

All the games i own use the different axes of the shake button in nearly the same manner, so i mapped all the axes to one button.

To play SMG 1 & 2 with Keyboard & mouse you may use this setting:

[Profile]
Device = DInput/0/Keyboard Mouse
Buttons/A = SPACE | `Click 0`
Buttons/B = B | `Click 1`
Buttons/1 = 1
Buttons/2 = 2
Buttons/- = MINUS
Buttons/+ = EQUALS
Buttons/Home = GRAVE
IR/Up = Cursor Y-
IR/Down = Cursor Y+
IR/Left = Cursor X-
IR/Right = Cursor X+
Tilt/Forward = NUMPAD8
Tilt/Backward = NUMPAD2
Tilt/Left = NUMPAD4
Tilt/Right = NUMPAD6
Shake/X = X | `Click 2`
Extension = Nunchuk
Nunchuk/Buttons/C = C
Nunchuk/Buttons/Z = Z | `Axis Z-` | `Axis Z+`
Nunchuk/Stick/Up = UP
Nunchuk/Stick/Down = DOWN
Nunchuk/Stick/Left = LEFT
Nunchuk/Stick/Right = RIGHT
D-Pad/Up = HOME
D-Pad/Down = END
D-Pad/Left = DELETE
D-Pad/Right = NEXT

How to use: Just create an ini file and put this code. Put the ini in Config\Profiles\Wiimote

Overview: This setting map the IR to mouse with Jumping (A), Shooting Star bits (B) and Spinning (Shake) to Left Click, Right Click and Middle click respectively (I'm assuming that you are a right-handed). Controlling Mario goes with keyboard: Moving with Up, Down, Left and Right. Camera buttons goes with Home, End, Delete and Page Down buttons, Jumping goes with Space bar, Shooting Star bits goes with B button, Resting Camera behind Mario with the C button. As for Tilting the Wii remote, use the 8,2,4 and 6 Numpad keys. works with gliding, if you want to use it with the Star Ball, don't forget to enable the "Upright Wiiremote" option.

Tip: Mostly you won't use the mouse much, cause keyboard is eaiser.. However when you need the IR, just put your left hand on the Up, down, Left and right buttons on the keyboard, and your right hand on the mouse
