Help setting up Mayflash controller adapter on brother's Mac

Okay, so I'm having trouble with having dolphin detect my mayflash controller adapter on my brother's computer even though it works perfectly well on mine. We both have iMac computers so that in itself is already an issue, but he does have a newer one that should work better with running games compared to mine. The main issue is that when I have my adapter set to Wii U/ NS, it will do the normal auto-configure for my controllers, and I can run my games without a hitch, however when the adapter is on Wii U/ NS mode when plugged into his computer, Dolphin will simply close itself and not open. This has happened regardless of what version of Dolphin we've used so far (5.0 stable, beta 5.0-11333. , and beta 5.0-13963 the latest beta as of today April 8, 2021) Going into the controllers menu and setting Port 1 as a Standard controller to set up the controllers manually has not worked either as the inputs don't seem to want to register when prompted after clicking on the boxes adjacent to the button mapping. If anyone can help. please let me know, it would be much appreciated! (Side note, all the specs listed in my profile are the specs of my brother's computer if those are needed) (Side Side note, I am running Mac OS High Sierra Version 10.13.6, my brother is running Mac OS Catalina Version 10.15.4)

I did on my MacBook Air the following steps to get dolphin 5.0-14007, Mayflash and third party motion plus controller to run without any luck

 unzip SmashEnabler.kext.zip
 sudo cp -r SmashEnabler.kext /Library/Extensions/SmashEnabler.kext
 sudo chown -R root:wheel /Library/Extensions/SmashEnabler.kext
 sudo touch /Library/Extensions
 sudo reboot

Next, during the reboot, I pressed "Command + R" and then I opened the Terminal and executed csrutil enable --without kext.



Finally, I rebooted once more time into macOS Big Sur, started sync between the controller and sensor bar. Afterwards, I started dolphin and a short vibration was to hear. Before the game started, I lost the connection and after syncing the remote seem not to work.

What did I miss?
