Help/questions about settings and Ubershaders

Hey guys, so I'm new to Dolphin and emulation in general so I have a question...


I have a pretty beefy PC (i5 4690k OC, GTX 1070, 16GB RAM) but when I'm playing Wind Waker or even New Super Mario Bros I'm getting FPS dips pretty frequently. It's just stuttering. Those are the only 2 games I've really played. But it doesn't feel, I don't know, smooth I guess. Like I see videos of people playing these games at a solid 60 FPS and it looks buttery.

I'm running the newest Dolphin build and I've looked at videos on YouTube about what settings I should use (basically I'm using the default settings at 2k resolution).

Am I missing something? Is there some super specific settings I need to have? I've been reading about Ubershaders but I have no clue how to enable them within Dolphin, I just don't see that option. Could that be causing the stuttering?

Any help/advice you can give me would be greatly appreciated!

You can set ubershaders under enhancements in the graphics settings.

I'm not seeing where to set Ubershaders? Am I missing something? I double checked and I'm on Dolphin 5.0
