Sorry I am new to this site. I have used Dolphin in the past but now am using it quite abit more. I am having an issue. Im playing Twilight Princess and found that in Hyrule Filed it drops frames to the point its almost unplayable. I learned from searching online that its a known issue and a fix is in place. My problem is I cant open the game properties for Twilight Princess and turn on the fix or hack. I typically open my iso by clicking on open then going to the folder I have put my isos in and loading it up from there. However I have seen most people have their ISOs already right in the folder of their Dolphin Emulator. So again I did research to see how this is done. Well I went to Config then Paths and attempted to add Twilight Princess and some other games. For some reason when I open the twilight princess folder there is nothing in said folder. Its completely empty. Yet when I go to that folder outside of using Dolphin the ISO is right there for me to click on. Ive also attempted to just drag the ISO into the box where you add a path. IT wont allow it. This is driving me crazy as I cant access the game properties to fix my lag issue. Can someone please help me with this. Sorry, I probably sound like a complete noob and I did search the forum for this issue and cant find anything on it. By the way, Im using version 4.0-8530. Thank you.

The paths tab uses a folder browser, not a file browser, so you aren't going to see any files in it. Just go to the right folder and confirm by pressing the button at the bottom of the dialog. This will add all games in the folder to Dolphin's file list.

Not going to lie, I feel like an idiot right about now. when I would find the folder I needed I would double click on it expecting it to open said folder if it was correct. I figured I needed to seclect the actual ISO rather than just highlight the folder and then click select folder. Damn, I feel pretty dumb. Either way I thank you sir. Problem solved. |
