I use a Wavebird controller (have for years, got a few of them) and i use that official GameCube adapter that was brought out for the Wii U to use it on my PC for Dolphin and even some PC games i prefer playing with a GameCube controller by using x360ce.
Been using the same Wii U adapter for years and the same controllers for years and never had a problem, until now. Was just playing Luigi's Mansion (which over the years i've done 100 times before on various editions of Dolphin, and again never had this problem) but i played it quite abit yesterday - worked perfect... started playing it today and the game still runs great except every now and then it acts as if it's getting a second or two of interference (like sometimes Luigi looks like he's hopping on one foot rather than running/walking... and even though i'm holding the trigger down for the vacuum, it works for a couple of seconds, then he stops, then starts vacuuming again, then stops etc. over and over... even though i've had the trigger held down the whole time)
I know 100% sure the battery for the Wavebird isn't flat because you know those Nyko rechargeable batteries you can get for Wiimotes? Well those batteries also fit into the battery compartment of a Wavebird and works perfect. Before i started playing yesterday the battery had been in one of my Wiimotes charging on the Nyko dock and was 100% fully charged, and i only took it out and put it in the Wavebird yesterday. I saw somewhere about changing your power settings on your PC to High Performance, which i did, but that didn't fix this.
This definitely isn't making LM unplayable... it's just annoying and shouldn't be happening. Any suggestions?
