Ok, so I am looking to start doing video production for my church, and I haven't really ever stepped into the realm of it much. I used to be a computer art and graphics programming major, but that was working more with photoshop and images, not video except for maybe .gif's coming closest to it. I want to make professional-looking videos, and I'm looking for a good starting point as to how I'd do this. I have the entire Adobe Master Collection CS5 on my Windows 7 64 bit system if that means anything. I don't think that Windows Movie Maker or whatever it's called is going to cut it. I want to learn how to make interactive backgrounds with moving text and just different effects on recorded video in order to give professionally done aesthetics to the videos that I want to make.

You get the idea. I'm a quick learner, but I just need direction so that I know what programs to use, good resources for those programs, etc. Any help would be most appreciated. Thanks.
