Very new to using Dolphin so it is very possible I am just selecting the wrong configuration. I'm using a Google Pixel 4 XL with the Dolphin app version 5.0-12247.

I am trying to set up a Razer Kishi to play Wii games, right now, specifically Twilight Princess. If I map the GC controls, nothing works. If I map the Wii remote with an extension for the Classic controller mapped with the Kishi I can get past the title screen to the main menu but then the game pauses and wants a nunchuck connected. I had read on another post that the controls set up depends on the game and what it is compatible with, but I know Twilight Princess for the Wii is compatible with a GC controller because that's what I used to use back in the day. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Also I tried this same thing using a DS4 controller.

It's not. The only control scheme supported by the Wii version of Twilight Princess is Wii Remote + Nunchuk.

Ah, I was probably thinking of playing GC games on the Wii. Oh well, thanks for the reply.

Dolphin supports GameCube games too.  You can play the GameCube version of Twilight Princess

Yeah, I was just wanting the widescreen version without using the widescreen hack. I was just switching versions in my head. I remember now playing the GC version on the Wii and then later playing the Wii version. Wires were just getting crossed in my memory. Thanks though!

the wii verison of TP needs Wii mote + numchuck (mappings)
and motion mappings like

1) swing for the sword and sheild,
2) tilt for fishing and others?
3) shake?

the maunals for wii games state clearly what contorls/buttons and motions each games uses/needs,
so that's a good place to look for mappings,

GC games are easy to map,
wii games are a litte complex as they have motion mappings along with the speicifc buttons for each game.
