Help! Joystick working only with Mario Kart...

Hi!

I have a kinda generic USB joystick. The thing is that is works perfectly with Mario Kart, but it doesn't work at all with any other games. Maybe it's because I haven't installed the drivers for it, but I don't really know where the cd with the drivers it or where could I download some generic drivers that could work. Don't know if that's the problem. But then it wouldn't work even for Mario Kart, right?!

Mario Kart Wii supports both GameCube controllers and Wiimotes. Maybe you configured your controller as a GameCube controller and are trying to use it for games that only support Wiimotes? Or maybe you configured your controller as a Wiimote and are trying to use it for GameCube games?

In fact, I did configure the gamepad as a GameCube controller, but I didn't try it only on games that support Wiimotes. I will try configuring it as a Wiimote and see if that helps. Thanks a lot for the help!
