I'm brand new to Wii emulation but I know a bit about the whole process. This is the most dense thing I have come come across!
A few questions. My setup is Mac mini running 10.6.4 with a PS3 Dualshock3 (i've also got a Sixaxis too if that makes a difference) over Bluetooth. With Dolphin SVN 6286 from http://macadam.toile-libre.org/macadam_test/Dolphin.html
1. Can I use the PS3 pad to control the motion controls? I've set up all the buttons already and they work fine. When I try to setup the motion controls nothing is detected. I haven't installed any other drivers, are there any that I need?
2. How do I get the Wii system menu? I've downloaded NUSD (running through VMWare Fusion) and have also downloaded v194 of the system software and checked the Pack->WAD. I chose Install Wii Menu in Dolphin but nothing happened. What am I doing wrong?
I've been browsing through this forum for hours trying to find answers but it's too disorganised. It's like the community has become a bit insular, at least looking from the outside in. A few to many things are taken for granted, like what WAD files are and how to play your ISO's.
The forum should have separate sections for different OS's. With subsections for the main ways to control Dolphin ie Wiimote, PS3 Pad, Xbox pad etc. With super simple straightforward Tutorials on getting setup with your particular configuration. Maybe a Wiki could be setup?
