help, getting a failed to compile vortex shader

i'm getting that, just got this laptop used
is there anything i can do to get dolphin to work?

i have a windows 7 3gb ram x64
dell intel petium
dual core

if need anymore info let me know.

Your GPU is too old and does not support OpenGL 3.3. That's the minimum for OpenGL on Dolphin. Since your CPU is the T4300, your GPU is probably a GMA 4500MHD. It supports DirectX10, so you can use the Direct3D11 backend in Dolphin instead of OpenGL.

However, you CPU and GPU are very weak for Dolphin. You will experience a lot of slowdowns since you're running on an old laptop.

dolphin ran on my last laptop but it was also slow, it was a gateway.
so i should just uninstall dolphin on this laptop? thanks for letting me know

It's probably not worth running Dolphin on your current laptop. It may not be worth running Dolphin on your other laptop if it has similar hardware. I can't say for sure unless you give me its specs. Ideally, a newer laptop would likely run Dolphin better, but not everyone can just buy something like that.

yeah it's why i had to get an older laptop for just $100. thats poohy i might have to get a wii or new gamecube, wanted dolphin because my gamecube died but might see if i can upgrade to a wii this christmas and play my gamecube games on that.
