Hey !

So I have an adapter for my GC controllers, I installed Zadig, replaced the driver and when I choose GameCube adapter for wii U I can press configure where dolphin confirms that it is detected and I can enable rumble (everything's fine so far)

But when i start a game, my controller won't answer... nothing happens no matter which controller I plug or in wich slot...
And I noticed that if I go in the controller options when a game is running, it keeps changing between "adaptater detected" and "no adapter detected" every 0.5 seconds.. Huh

I'm new to all this stuff so I'm sorry in advance if my problem is a little stupid or if I'm missing something obvious.
I'm also sorry I know my english isn't perfect.

Thanks in advance to anyone that could eventually help me

This is a known problem with some third-party adapters, and there's no known solution other than not using Dolphin's native support.

What do you mean by "not using Dolphin's native support" I need to use an other emulator ? or buy a new adapter from another brand ?

I mean that you would have to set the adapter to PC mode (or if it doesn't have a PC mode, use something like vJoy) and set Dolphin to Standard Controller instead of GameCube Adapter for Wii U. (But buying an official adapter or Mayflash adapter would also work.)

I tried both... yet I can't get it to work..
I do have a pc mode switch on the back and yet it doesn't work... When I select standard controller, I can't map it and it doesn't work when I start a game.
I also tried with vjoy but it's not working either..
It's so annoying I really want to get it to work but I'm lost honnestly.
By the way, my adapter is from the brand "Dobe" (model TNS-1894 ?)
So if anyone have a solution I'd realllly apreciate ^^ but thanks for the time you already spent JosJuice

Do all 4 ports of the adapter show up in the devices dropdown? Have you tried mapping the controller with all four?
