I am playing Wind Waker with SVN 7658 x64 on windows 7, and in the very first area I am getting considerable slowdown where the game is running at ~15 fps, as far as I can tell my rig shouldn't have this problem as there is no lack of power (Check signature for details). I am wondering if there are certain settings that might be slowing me down. I am running it at x2 internal resolution with 4xAA and 8x AF but it seems to do the same thing if I turn that stuff off.

Is this just something I have to deal with with the state of emulation? Or is there a way to optimize for this game?

Also Super Mario Sunshine fine and will go much too fast when no frame limit (or 60) is set, but when I set the frame limit to 30 to get it to run at normal speed it gets laggy.

Thanks for any help guys.

EDIT: I tried the DX9 Plugin and it runs a lot better but there are all kinds of popping shadows and blinking objects when I turn the frame limit on, it doesn't do this without the frame limit but it runs much too fast.

Alright that seemed to get rid of the problem most of the time, it only happens now and then now. Thanks.
