Oh, also, those games are all demanding. A few of the games you tested with (Sunshine comes to mind) are really light, though. Really, SMS should run full speed, and I have no idea why it isn't.

I find when I turn on turbo boost on my computer (with anything game) my computer hits temperatures of like 90 C, so I try to keep it off for obvious reasons. Just tried turning it on too, just to make sure it would do something. Still capped at 25 FPS, but it's playing a lot smoother

So, it pretty much comes down to the fact that Dolphin doesn't like me?

SMS isn´t lightweight, it´s average weight due to CPU and GPU requirements, that are sort of high. And remember the high impact that happens when using EFB-2-RAM, which is needed for the game to work properly.

@O.P.: You need to apply new thermal paste. Urgently.
Rig 1: Windows 10 Home | AMD A6-1450 @ 600/1000/1400 MHz | AMD Radeon HD Graphics 8250 | 4GB RAM | HP Pavilion TouchSmart 11.

Rig 2: Windows 10 Pro | Intel Core i7-2640M @ 780/2800/3500 MHz | Intel HD 3000 Mobile | 8GB RAM | Dell Latitude 6320.

I didn't know quite what I could do about the temp issues, so that'swhy I keep it in lower power mods (it never gets higher than 50). Surprisingly, I've had this for coming up three years now and not a single issue, but I'll look into the thermal paste suggestion, thanks man!
EDIT: I think part of the reason why it was hitting 90 was that I was using the overclock far too often, right now it's getting no higher than 60 when I run Dolphin at max AA & anisotropic... which I'm still getting 25 FPS

I applied new thermal paste to my MacBook and it still hits 90ºC pretty easily. Not to discount your advice, but, yeah, it only improves temps that much.

So I'm finding now after tinkering with the settings I can get 30 FPS in LoZTP, 25 FPS in SMS, 30-50 FPS THPS3, 10-60 FPS SSBB, and this is with max settings enabled in DX11

Twilight princess is 30FPS, so you're already there with that. I have no idea how, though.

And SMS is 25 FPS max when in gameplay. You´re being bottlenecked as you´re only getting full speed on some games when putting high, heavy settings.

SMS & LoZ make sense that it's no higher than that, but with THPS3 & SSBB, no matter what settings I change it to I can never get full speed, usually just some choppy inbetween speed
