OS: Windows 10 64 bit Professional
CPU: AMD Ryzen 5900X RAM: 48GB GPU: Radeon 7800 XT
Would you say it would be worth me upgrading the CPU from an i7 3630QM to an I7 3740QM
I would have to sacrifice the 120gb ssd as well but I doubt that's too much of a problem It's an extra £100 but they have changed a few things on the website so I can afford it now.

A CPU upgrade is always better, but it depends on your budget. If you can afford, get the better CPU

I'd say there is about 10-15% speed increase 11-21-2012, 11:38 PM

Nvidia 600 series is known for having idle issue with Dolphin (GPU clock speed is clocked at 200MHz when dolphin is runnning)
If your GPU have this problem , just pull "Texture Cache" slider (Dolphin - Graphic - Hack) between "safe" and "fast" or just set it to "safe" or use high settings to force that GPU : 4x Internal Resolution , no AA , 16 AF You can check this thread for more info Laptop: Mini PC :: 11-22-2012, 01:28 AM
